Sukharev Oleg Sergeevich

1. Sukharev Oleg Sergeevich was born in 1972.

2. In 1996 he graduated from Bryansk State Technical University with honours and was given the qualification of mechanical engineer-researcher (The Department of Dynamics and Machines Strength). After graduation he worked as the assistant lecturer at the Department of Economy and Production Organization at Bryansk State Technical University.

3. In 1998 he finished postgraduate course of Bryansk State Technological Academy of Engineering on the speciality “Economy and National Economy Management” defending Ph.D. thesis ahead of schedule. Then he worked as a senior lecturer and assistant professor of Bryansk State University.

4. In 1999 he entered the institution of doctoral candidacy of Oryol State Technical University where in 2001 he defended the doctoral thesis. In 1999 Regional Scientific and Technical Center of Defence Enterprises was organized in Bryansk region on his initiative, projects of regional laws and programs of industry re-structuring were prepared.

5. In 2002-2005 he worked as a Professor of Bryansk State University. Since 2002 he was a senior research fellow, and then a leading research fellow of the Institute of Economy of Russian Academy of Sciences.

6. In 2005-2014 he was a professor of Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

7. In 2006-2009 he was a professor of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

8. In 2008 he created and headed the Center of Macroeconomic Policy of Russian State University of Trade and Economics.

9. Since 2007 he is an academic secretary of the Center of Macroeconomic Strategy of the Institute of Economy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and then of the Center of Evolutionary Theory and Economic Development.

He is the author of 25 monographs, 7 tutorials and over 350 scientific works, the total volume of which is more than 750 printer’s sheets. A laureate of 2002 medal of the Russian Academy of Sciences for two monographs: “Institutional Theory and Economic Policy” and “Economic Dysfunction Theory”. He is a laureate of N.D.Kondratev Commemorative Medal “For contribution to the development of social sciences” in 2007 and a Silver Medal in 2012. He is laureate of Charitable Foundation of Domestic Science Assistance in the nomination “The Best Economist of the Russian Academy of Sciences”. In 2011 he was awarded with the diploma of International Association of Institutional Researches for the book “Future Economy. The Theory of Institutional Changes”.

He is a member of International Engineering Workers Guild and N.D.Kondratev International Fund Council. He was a member of the Higher Ecological Council under Natural Resources and Nature Management Committee of the Russian Federation, a member of “Institutions of Innovative Economy” Council of Experts under Industry and High Technologies Committee of State Duma of the Russian Federation.

He trained 15 Candidates of Science and 4 Doctors.

He is an editorial board member of “ "International science research", “Investments in Russia” journals, "Perm University Herald", "The Bulletin of the South-Russian State Technical University" (NPI). From the day of its foundation until 2021, he was a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Theory (and the journal was created according to the proposal of O.S. Sukharev. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Tatarkin A.I. and Corresponding Member. RAS Popov E.V. and started working in 2004). He was a member of the organizing committee of the symposium on Evolutionary Economics, held in the Russian Academy of Sciences, deputy chairman of the international conference "The contradictions of modern economic policy. Russia and the World", program committees of international conferences, and others.

Since 2003 he has worked in dissertational councils on 08.00.10, 08.00.05, 08.00.13, 08.00.01 specialities.
